Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team! They are a first opinion practice with a varied caseload. The role will involve carrying out consultations, vaccination clinics, surgery, clinical workups, and diagnostic imaging. They are looking for someone who works well in a team but also independently, can be flexible and have an interest in the working of the practice.
Rota:
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours over 4 days per week, where at least one will be a surgery day. There will be 1 in 4 Saturdays (9-12) and no out of hours.
About them:
They are a well-established, friendly small animal practice. The practice is fully equipped with 2 operating theatres, 5 consult rooms, separate cat and dog wards, Ultra sonography, digital x-ray with Signal Pet AI, in-house biochemistry and haematology.
Currently they have 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Animal Care Assistant, 7 Support Staff members and a Practice manager. They are proud to have a very low staff turnover and a very friendly and experienced team. Their Clinical Directors are supportive of their Vets, Nurses and Support Staff and understand the importance of everyone’s role within the team and the practice.
Salary:
Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience plus benefits
