This Small Animal Practice is located in Falkirk and is a small but busy five vet practice, who are well equipped and they have a wide ranging caseload, there's even a dedicated cat clinic!
The team currently consists of five vets supported by a registered nurse, a team of patient care assistants and a client care assistant. Giving you a friendly, supportive & experienced environment!
The Role:
This is a Full Time role working 39 hours per week over 4 days each week, but the clinic can be flexible for the right candidate.
Some duties would include:
Assess and examine and diagnose patients’ medical issues.
Perform surgery, dress and treat wounds.
Perform diagnostic laboratory, imaging and ultrasound testing where required.
Prescribe medication.
Promote preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations and immunisations.
Educate clients on positive lifestyle choices for pets/livestock.
Euthanise patients.
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
Maintain patients’ medical records.
