Ready for a Role That Blends Variety, Autonomy, and Genuine Clinical Support?

I’m delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a GP Veterinary Surgeon who thrives on variety while still valuing consistency. If you enjoy the balance of rotating between two well-established practices—without ever switching mid-day—and want the freedom to make a real impact, this role offers exactly that.

You can choose a three- or four-day working week, dividing your time evenly between two friendly, well-supported clinics. Both provide different styles of caseloads, giving you the perfect mix of variety and stability. Day to day, you’ll manage consultations, routine surgeries, and general practice responsibilities, supported by experienced nursing teams and hands-on leadership.

Although this is a sole-charge position, you’ll never feel isolated. You’ll have direct access to a fully equipped 24-hour hospital for advanced procedures, complex referrals, and OOH support, as well as ongoing guidance from a knowledgeable regional management team.

Your rota includes a branch Saturday rotation, a 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation, and one bank holiday per year—but no on-call duties, allowing you true work-life balance.

What You’ll Receive:
I’ve ensured the package for this role reflects both the level of responsibility and the exceptional professional development opportunities it offers:

  • Highly competitive salary from £60,000 to £75,000 (FTE), with room for advancement

  • 6.6 weeks of paid leave, including bank holidays, giving you the rest you deserve

  • Substantial funding for CPD, supporting both clinical and leadership progression

  • Dedicated paid CPD time to invest in your growth

  • Private medical insurance, promoting long-term wellbeing

  • Relocation assistance available for those moving to the area

  • Coverage of professional fees to keep your registrations and memberships up to date

  • 24/7 wellbeing and employee support services

  • Attractive staff discounts on veterinary services

If you’re looking for a role that gives you independence, solid clinical backup, and the chance to work across two dynamic environments, I’d love to tell you more!
