Ready to Take Your Veterinary Career to New Heights in the Mountains?
I’m excited to share an opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, friendly, and forward-thinking team in one of Canada’s most breathtaking regions. If you’re someone who thrives in a supportive environment, values balance, and wants to blend excellent medicine with an adventurous lifestyle, this could be the perfect next step.
This companion-animal hospital is expanding and now seeking a third Veterinary Surgeon to complement its strong clinical team. With modern diagnostics—including digital radiography, digital dental imaging, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and a class 4 therapeutic laser—you’ll have everything you need to deliver high-quality care with confidence. The practice uses Avimark, ensuring efficient and organized case management.
Whether you’re an experienced clinician or a newer graduate, you’ll find an environment built on collaboration, communication, and genuine support. The existing veterinary team values new ideas and is enthusiastic about mentoring a developing surgeon.
The location itself is a major selling point—offering immediate access to the Rocky Mountains, lakes, trails, and year-round outdoor recreation. With small-city amenities, a vibrant cultural scene, and an easy link to international travel, it’s an outstanding place to build both a career and a lifestyle.
