Are you a Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in fertility?
Based in an ideal location in NI, 20 minutes from Belfast City Centre and 10 mins from Belfast International Airport.
We are delighted to be representing an Independent Farm Animal Practice who are looking for a new team member to join their friendly clinic. They have loads of interesting cases along with a bit of craic. They are a friendly close knit team with a strong focus on peer support and professional clinical standards.
Workload consists of emergencies, fertility scanning (latest easy scan go scanners), bull fertility testing (Pulsator V), calf mortality/morbidity investigations, on-farms PMs, bovine embryo flushing and transfer, TB testing and heifer teat sealing.
All vets are encouraged to develop their abilities and experience in any area they find particularly interesting.

On-call rota is 1 in 4 with generous holiday allowance.
Wage package is heavily tailored to the wants and needs of the applicant. A package based heavily on benefits, a shorter work week and more flexible hours is possible. Similarly a package with a greater potential to earn a much higher wage is also possible.
In the past employees have enjoyed the opportunity to spend their summers working in a New Zealand LA practice during their spring!There is a two day CPD allowance and professional fees are paid by practice.
