We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team.
Role:
Their ideal candidate will have a medicine interest however we see a variety of procedures and cases so have something to suit all areas of interest!
This practice is a busy hospital, led by their Branch Partner and Lead Vet. At full capacity they are a six-vet clinic with a dedicated night team who manage all out of hour care for the regions 15 surrounding branches.
The practice is equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, gastroscope, bronchoscope, laparoscopy, orthopaedic equipment, ultrasound as their machinery plus a wide array of more emergency equipment. With CT suite due to be built in the near future!
They are a friendly bunch who work together to regular review and improve protocols, and they have a nice client base who appreciate the personal service they provide.
Full time salary package up to £57,369 per annum depending on experience to include:
5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends
Career progression and certificate funding encouraged!
4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

The practice is situated in a quiet, leafy residential area with excellent train and tram links including Thameslink, Southeastern and Southern Train Lines. The practice is a very short walk from the town centre and they have staff parking available.
