We are working with a well-established, progressive veterinary practice in South Manchester to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The Role
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience and be comfortable with some sole charge responsibilities. The position includes occasional late evening shifts (5 pm–11 pm) and weekend work on a rota basis, but there are no on-call duties.
This seven-branch practice prides itself on providing gold-standard care supported by a Tier 3 hospital and a multi-disciplinary referral team. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT scanner)
- Doppler echocardiography
- Flexible and rigid endoscopy
- Direct and dental radiography
- Ultrasound scanners
- Electrocautery
- Laparoscopy and advanced anaesthesia equipment

Hours and Salary
