Registered Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal Practice | Hertfordshire
No OOH | Flexible Working | Varied Caseload | Supportive Team Environment
We’re working with a well-regarded small animal practice in Hertfordshire that is looking to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse to their friendly, close-knit team. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who wants to be hands-on in a supportive setting that encourages growth, collaboration, and excellent patient care.
The Role
You’ll enjoy a broad range of responsibilities including theatre support, inpatient care, nurse consults, and assisting with visiting specialists. The team works together across all areas of the practice, creating a collaborative environment where every team member’s contribution is valued.
The caseload is varied and engaging, with longer appointments for non-routine cases and regular access to advanced procedures—offering a great opportunity to build on your clinical skills.
The Practice
Located in a well-equipped, purpose-built facility, this practice provides a modern and calm working environment. With dedicated surgical areas, separate wards, in-house lab equipment, and regular support from external specialists, the team is able to deliver a high standard of care to a loyal and growing client base.
About You
You’ll be a qualified and registered veterinary nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering high standards of care. Confidence with anaesthesia and nurse consults is ideal, but the team is equally happy to support development in these areas. A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills are essential.
