About the Role
As Medical Director, you’ll balance leadership responsibilities with clinical work. You’ll help steer medical quality, support associate development, and foster a hospital culture built on trust, communication, and respect. You’ll also partner closely with operational leadership to maintain an efficient, safe, and positive environment for clients, pets, and staff.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor veterinarians, supporting their clinical and professional growth

Oversee medical standards, client care, and hospital workflow

Collaborate with the practice manager and operations team on scheduling, budgeting, and daily operations

Support a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and excellent service

Maintain strong client communication and deliver comprehensive, high-quality medical care

Help guide hospital initiatives and support ongoing improvement
What You Bring

DVM/VMD with eligibility for Florida licensure

At least two years of clinical experience

Previous leadership or coaching experience

Strong soft tissue surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, and urgent care skills

A passion for teamwork, communication, and cultivating a positive workplace
