The Role:
As Medical Director, you'll combine leadership with hands-on clinical work. You’ll help set medical standards, mentor and support fellow veterinarians, and partner with the practice manager to oversee day-to-day hospital operations. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Mentoring and developing associate veterinarians

  • Leading by example in delivering high-quality medical care and client communication

  • Collaborating with the practice manager on hiring, training, scheduling, and operational planning

  • Overseeing medical protocols and promoting continued learning and development

  • Participating in budgeting, growth strategy, and business performance discussions

What You’ll Bring:

  • DVM or equivalent with eligibility for Florida veterinary licensure

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (3+ preferred)

  • Prior leadership experience or strong mentoring/coaching abilities

  • Interest in soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, or urgent care is a plus

  • Willingness to work Saturdays
