An established and well-respected veterinary practice in Fredonia, WI is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join a team known for its medical excellence and strong community presence.

With a thriving client base and a reputation for high-quality care, this multi-doctor team provides a supportive, family-friendly environment where collaboration and professional growth are encouraged. The practice continues to grow steadily thanks to a loyal clientele and word-of-mouth referrals, and the team is now ready to welcome another like-minded veterinarian.

Highlights of the Role:

  • Work alongside a team of experienced doctors and skilled technicians

  • A healthy mix of preventive care, sick patient workups, dentistry, and surgery

  • Opportunities to treat a variety of species including cats, dogs, pocket pets, and the occasional farm animal such as a lamb or alpaca

  • No after-hours or on-call responsibilities thanks to support from nearby emergency hospitals

  • Certified in high standards of care and committed to low-stress handling techniques

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Brings strong skills in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics

  • Has a positive and empathetic approach with both clients and team members

  • Values integrity, reliability, and continuous improvement

  • Interested in developing special interests such as orthopedics, rehab, exotics, or complementary medicine (e.g. acupuncture or spinal manipulation)

Veterinarians with an interest in equine or small ruminants are also welcome, though this is not a requirement.

About the Location:

Fredonia is a welcoming community that blends rural charm with easy access to city life. Located just over 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, it offers the perfect balance between a peaceful lifestyle and the amenities of a larger city. The area features excellent schools, green space, and a strong sense of community—making it an ideal setting for individuals, families, or couples.

What's on Offer:

  • A flexible and competitive compensation package based on experience and skillset

  • Support for continuing education and certification in areas of interest

  • A collaborative, supportive team culture that values individual growth

  • No emergency or after-hours shifts required
