Join a very busy, RCVS accredited, first opinion and referral practice, with a team of 20 Vets and 50 nurses at the main hospital. They also have 9 branches in the surrounding area, and have an amazing team of nurses, including ACAs, SVNs, RVNs, and Diploma holding RVNs.
The Role:
We are currently looking for an RVN to be based in theatre. The ideal candidate will be an organised and dynamic RVN with a passion for anaesthesia and surgical nursing, and a good idea of how theatre runs.
The role will be based in first opinion theatre helping with general anaesthesia, preparation, and recovery of surgical patients; organisation and running of first opinion theatre list; liaising with referral theatre to ensure the smooth daily running of theatre/possible referral rotation; and assisting with the training of students
Shift Patterns:
7am-3pm / 10.30am-6.30pm on alternate weeks, with a week of 2pm-10pm on a rota basis
Weekends are 1:5 (this is either a Saturday or a Sunday)
NO OOH! We have a fantastic OOH team, but there is availability to pick up additional paid shifts.
