A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for two Veterinary Surgeons to join a dedicated and supportive team here on the beautiful South Devon coast!

Role:

  • The positions involve carrying out consultations, working up cases, preforming general surgery and basic imaging, plus visits to the animal charity partner.

  • Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced veterinary surgeon, this clinic are committed to offering you support and progression in any areas of interest.

  • Full time positions available, part time positions would be happily considered.

About the Practice:

This practice is a small independent locally owned small animal practice with some exotic cases; which allows for great case continuity and builds positive relationships with loyal clients. They are proud to still be providing the best veterinary care to the local community after nearly 50 years.

They offer 24 hour hospital facilities with a fully equipped operating theatre, the latest diagnostic imaging technology with digital x-ray, Sonobook 8 Ultrasound scanner with Colour Doppler, New IDEXX in-house laboratory for rapid diagnosis and separate dog and cat wards.

Location:

South Devon is one of the best quality of life areas to live in. The local beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status and are full of water sporting adventures. Dartmoor National Park is only a 15 minute drive away and is perfect for those who enjoy hiking, horse-riding, cycling or to just simply enjoy fantastic views. Exeter city is only a 30 minute drive away. There are good transport links with gives easy access to the rest of the UK.

Our Offer

  • Salary negotiable depending on ability and experience.

  • New graduate support package starting at £30,000 with free accommodation and a named mentor offering clinical support.

  • Work pattern is Monday-Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-1, with time off given in the week for any weekend work necessary.

  • No OOH work after 7pm.

  • The ideal candidate will be confident with high communication skills.
