We have a fantastic opportunity for a small animal vet to join this fantastic day team based within a veterinary hospital in Co Down.
The clinic has a friendly and experienced team of 4.5 Vets, 4 RVN's, 2 SVN's and a fantastic clinical support team of 2 PCA's, 4 receptionists and a Practice Manager and a Practice Director. The successful candidate would be working alongside a vet who has AVP status and our Advanced Practitioner who has certAVP(SAM) status and do clinical work through ACSN.
They endeavour to provide the highest standard of care for patients and to treat them with dignity and respect at all times, to minimise stress and pain by using modern sedation and analgesic drugs when appropriate and to keep owners fully informed. Dedicated surgical and dental theatres are complemented by comfortable dog and cat wards and 24-hour, seven day nursing care by their team of RCVS registered veterinary nurses.
Role:
This is a full-time role working 4 days per week. There will also be a requirement to cover 1 in 4 weekend days, 7.30am to 7.30 pm Saturday and Sunday, plus 2 Bank Holiday day shifts per year details of which to be discussed further at interview.
