We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who are on the look out fir a Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team.
Role:
A typical day on consults would include a range of 2-hour blocks for routines, non-routines, and emergencies. Each vet also has 'operation days'. These 'Operation days' allow the vets to work more in their areas of interest: surgery, ultrasound, dentistry and finishes with an evening surgery.
Caseloads can vary and there is scope for you to develop your caseloads and have days allocated to your specific area of interest e.g. surgery, ultrasound, dentistry to name a few.
Flexible Working:
Their full-time rota is 36 hours per week between Monday-Friday (8:30am-6:30pm). OOH is one night per week (or less) with 1:7 weekends which includes Saturday morning consults (08:30am-1:00pm).
About them:
They are an established, experienced team of 6 vets, ranging from 4-14years, with special areas of interest in Surgery, Ophthalmology, Ultrasound, Dentistry, and Medicine. They have a visiting cardiologist, experienced Veterinary Surgeons and an inhouse Internal Medicine Head Vet. They believe in treating their nurses as the registered professionals that they are and their 8 RVNs offer great support to their team.
Financial incentives include Relocation Allowance of up to £5,000 plus IOM Government Grant, 1-year National Insurance holiday and maximum 20% income tax banding
