Are You Ready to Elevate Your Veterinary Career with Cutting-Edge Equipment and a Truly Supportive Team?

I’m working with a progressive, close-knit small animal practice that is looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys practising high-quality medicine in a modern, well-equipped environment where your skills are valued and your development is actively supported.

This is the kind of role where you’re trusted, listened to, and given the tools to do your best work—every single day.

The Practice Environment
You’ll be joining a stable, friendly clinical team led by experienced veterinary professionals who genuinely understand practice life. The culture is collaborative, calm, and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, mentoring, and delivering excellent patient care without unnecessary pressure.

The facilities are bright, purpose-built, and fully air-conditioned, with investment in advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment that allows you to work cases up properly and confidently. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, in-house biochemistry, microscopy, advanced dental equipment, and fully equipped surgical theatres—everything you’d expect from a forward-thinking practice committed to gold-standard care.

The Role
This is a full-time Veterinary Surgeon position working a 4-day week, with a light weekend commitment limited to Saturday mornings only. There is a strong focus on case continuity and development, and the role would particularly suit someone with a surgical interest, although a balanced GP skillset is equally valued. You’ll also have the opportunity to support and mentor less experienced colleagues, helping shape a confident and cohesive clinical team.

What’s on Offer
The package has been carefully designed to support both your career ambitions and personal wellbeing, including:

  • Excellent salary range reflecting your experience and contribution

  • Generous CPD funding, with full support towards certificates and further qualifications

  • Paid professional memberships

  • Enhanced annual leave allowance, plus bank holidays

  • Pension contributions and long-term financial security

  • Access to exclusive lifestyle and retail benefits

  • A leadership team that actively promotes work–life balance, flexibility, and job satisfaction

Most importantly, this is a role where you’re treated as a trusted clinician, not just a rota filler—your ideas, interests, and progression genuinely matter.
