​We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced veterinarian to join this busy 10 vet non-corporate small animal hospital team in the Mandurah area of Australia. Someone with a good rapport with clients and who is confident in general practice, including general surgery, medicine, diagnostics and case management will have superb long term future options.

The experienced team can deal with all types of difficult and interesting medical or surgical cases and are very supportive of each other, providing an enjoyable working environment. Access to digital radiology, dental radiology and iM3 dental station, laboratory including CBC and biochemistry, clotting times, progesterone, cortisol etc, endoscopy, Mylab ultrasound and full anaesthetic monitoring enables high level diagnostic and treatment options.

If you are interested in surgery, there is an opportunity to participate in a large variety of surgical procedures including orthopaedics, while those with a medical bias will have plenty of interesting cases to pursue.

The practices realises the importance of a work life balance and are flexible with the hours worked. You can choose to work part time or full time and structured breaks are also provided throughout the day. Some of the team prefer longer days with more time off, others work shorter days – find the balance right for you.

Paid hourly - comparable to locum rates, remuneration is generous and well above average wages. $65 - $70 per hour commensurate with experience.

Salary: $135 000 - $150 000 (plus 10% super) - dependant on experience
