We have an amazing opportunity to work with this supportive team at an independently owned small animal practice located in Adelaide.

Work in a new purpose-built clinic which features two separate cat and dog waiting areas, consultation rooms and treatment wards, as well as two surgical theaters, a radiology suite, a dental suite, an isolation ward, and rehabilitation centre with an underwater treadmill.

With major focus on a healthy work life balance, the practice is not open Sundays or Public Holidays. No after hours or on call work is required. After hours are referred to one of the local dedicated emergency hospitals and also value the option to refer to specialists.

This is a full-time position, consisting of 4 week-day shifts with a consistent rostered weekday off and a share of Saturday mornings, however, a part-time position and/or family friendly hours for the right applicant will also be considered.

About the Role:

  • Generous salary based on experience and skills.

  • Full time or part time for the right candidate.

  • Experienced and new/recent graduates encouraged to apply.

  • Healthy work-life balance.

  • 4 weeks annual leave for full-time employees.

  • 1 week study leave for full-time employees.

  • Annual CPD allowance.

  • We encourage and support staff to explore and pursue areas of special interest.

  • S.A Veterinary Registration, Radiation License, AVA Membership and VIN subscription paid for by the employer.

  • Assistance with relocation will be considered.

  • Gold Standard Cat Friendly Accreditation.

  • Fear-free handling training provided (and required) for all staff.

About you:

  • Excited and passionate about providing high standards and best care practices.

  • Have excellent communication skills to gain and grow relationships with not only clients but also colleagues.

  • Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

  • Enjoy working solely and in a team.

  • Can provide and welcome feedback and support to/from other colleagues.

  • Eager to develop and advance your skills and continue your professional development to ensure standards of excellence.
