We are representing a clinic who are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking to add a dynamic veterinary surgeon to their team.

The position will entail covering our first opinion and surgical workload, with the opportunity to work at the other sites in the group. This role would suit an enthusiastic vet looking to help shape the new future of this large and growing veterinary partnership. They can support new graduates and readily welcome experienced veterinary colleagues that wish to further develop their skills and specialist interests.

They have a flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. Vets usually work between the hours of 8am – 6.30pm and most choose to work their 40 hours over 4 days, however, they are happy to accept both full and part-time candidates for this role as we understand how important a good work/life balance is. There is a share of Saturday morning consults but no OOH requirement.

About the Practice:

They have long-established small animal, equine and farm practices including five practices in and around Norwich with the farm practice covering East Anglia from North Norfolk down to Essex and across into Cambridgeshire. Their small animal practices are based around the Norfolk area.

You will be joining this team at an exciting time as they start to transform the business and make changes to ensure they are clinically fit and financially viable for the future. This transformation includes new ways of working, role development and enhancement and a defined clinical strategy with associated service development and development for the entire team. They are committed to developing the clinical and support teams to ensure they can meet their short, medium, and long-term goals.

The Team:

The group have over 30 vets working across all disciplines and ranging from new graduates to established senior colleagues with many years of experience and knowledge to share with the team. The group has specialist-trained colleagues and services and internal referrals for Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Dental and Orthopaedic surgery.

They are currently building and developing the nursing team with a multi-disciplinary programme of role review, development, and enhancement to better support vets, and have a highly skilled support team to ensure the smooth running and management of each practice.
