Small Animal Veterinarian

Flexible Days | No On-Call | Regional Lifestyle

Friendly and professional team. Regional lifestyle without the hustle. Flexible working options.

I’m Talal from Lloyd & Cowan Recruitment, and I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Companion Animal Veterinarian to join a genuinely supportive, collaborative regional practice on the Fraser Coast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a vet seeking strong clinical standards, real flexibility, and a lifestyle that offers space, affordability, and outdoor living — without sacrificing professional development or team culture.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

You’ll be joining a clinic where people truly enjoy coming to work. The team celebrates wins, supports each other daily, and maintains open communication around challenges and growth.

Wellbeing is genuinely prioritised, with practical initiatives in place to support sustainable veterinary careers, mental health, and healthy work-life balance.

About the Clinic

This is a long-established, well-respected small animal practice operating across two locations in a regional setting. You’ll work alongside veterinarians with a wide range of experience, supported by a highly capable nursing and reception team that keeps the day running smoothly and provides excellent hands-on support.

The clinic is well equipped to deliver a high standard of care, including:
• Digital radiography including dental
• Ultrasound
• Full in-house laboratory (ProCyte, Catalyst, iStat, Sedivue, Imagyst, coagulation)
• Advanced anaesthetic monitoring
• Bair Hugger warming systems
• Tono-Vet

The Role

• No after-hours and no on-call
• Full-time option: 4-day working week with an additional day off following a rostered weekend
