About:
We are representing an exceptional hospital based clinic in Brighton who are looking for an experienced vet to join their team.
The practice:
The large 24-hour hospital supports our 6 local branch practices and the out-of-hours of other local practices. It has a range of high technical equipment, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, laparoscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopes, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. With an exotic, orthopaedic, first opinion, and night team at the hospital, and are looking to grow our dedicated medicine team.
The Team:
You will be joining an experienced Team with a great senior vet, with over 20 yeas expereince! The team has multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests andexpertise, with referral services for orthopaedics, imaging, ophthalmology, and exotics. They are committed to continuing further development of our team members and investment intoservices.
Duties:
The role includes assessment and treatment of our hospitalised patients, taking a lead role in their care, and supporting other members of the medical team.
The ideal candidate would have, or want to work towards, an Emergency Critical Care or internal medicine certificate. (It will be expected that you enrol for a certificate after probation, if not already started. Fully supported)
In this role you will be working 36.5 hours over 3 days, giving plenty of time to explore this great city by the sea.
Benefits:
Salary range: £40,000-60,000, depending on qualification and experience, including mentoring experience. Certificates supported.
