No two days are the same here at this busy surgery and you will see a varied caseload. The role will include mentoring younger vets, liaising with practice manager regarding rotas/responsibilities and routines, leading and co-ordinate a happy clinical team, monitor and manage sales performance of the practice along with the Practice Manager, and you will have dedicated time booked off in the diary for Clinical Director duties
The role is for 40 hours per week, covering 4 and ½ days per week. With one in 3 Saturdays
Salary is up to £72,000 depending on experience. Along with relocation support up to £5000!
About the Practice:
The practice is a single site, purpose-built, small animal practice with 6 consult rooms, an in-house laboratory, digital x-rays, ultrasound and two theatres as well as separate dog and cat wards. They are a cat-friendly clinic with an ISFM silver award, an RCVS accredited training practice and an RCVS accredited practice. And have large car parks to the front and back. They are situated in an ideal position for travel to Liverpool, Wales and Manchester.
The Team:
They are a tight-knit team that loves working together. Currently having six receptionists, six Registered Veterinary Nurses, one 2nd year student nurse and one VCA soon to start his training, one Head Veterinary Nurse, and 6 FTE Veterinary Surgeons working in the practice, one of them a certificate holder.
Making time for team meetings, morning huddles, regular appraisals and love a good night out!
The Ideal CD to join the Team:
Ideally you will be an existing clinical director or an experienced vet who wishes to take the next step into this role where you will be supported to reach your full potential.
They are looking for someone confident with routine procedures and consultations with an enthusiasm for Surgery.
Ideally, you will enjoy building relationships, be compassionate and will relate to core principles of quality, integrity, responsibility and growth.
