We are representing a small animal practice in Tyne & Wear that is expanding its team and seeking a senior veterinary surgeon to join them.
The Practice:
The practice boasts modern diagnostic facilities, including digital radiography, a NEW Ultrasound machine, dental radiography, in-house laboratory, and laparotomy spays. You'll join a team of four veterinary surgeons and a highly experienced group of five RVNs, soon to be seven, who are dedicated to support and mentorship.
The Role:
As a senior veterinary surgeon, you'll work alongside the team leading them to continued success.
With a mix of consults and surgeries, tailored to your preferences. Laparoscopy training is available for those with a surgical bias.
While the practice offers emergency care during the day, there are no out-of-hours duties.
Hours:
Full-time availability is preferred, but part-time and flexible hours are negotiable. Full-time hours consist of 40 hours over four days per week, with no out-of-hours shifts and only a 1:4 Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.

Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 - £70,000 DOE
6.6 weeks of holiday per annum, inclusive of bank/public holidays
