Part-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse – Excellent Opportunity
I’m looking to speak with an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who’s ready to join a supportive, friendly team in a part-time role that offers variety and balance. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys using their full range of skills across surgery, medicine, and nurse consults within a busy, well-equipped practice.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team of vets, nurses, and support staff, working together to deliver outstanding patient and client care. The clinic is spacious and modern, with dedicated consulting rooms, an operating theatre, and an imaging suite — giving you exposure to a diverse caseload and the chance to build on your clinical experience.
The role:

Part-time position, 24 hours per week

1 in 4 weekends on a fair rota

Varied mix of consulting, inpatient care, and surgical nursing

Key responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across all areas of the practice

Support the veterinary team with surgeries and procedures
-
Run nurse-led appointments and carry out schedule 3 procedures

Monitor and care for inpatients, including admissions and discharges

Dispense and check medications with precision
-
Maintain the highest standards of clinical and regulatory compliance

Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the practice
About you:

RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in small animal practice

Confident in all aspects of nursing, from surgery to client communication

A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Compassionate, organised, and committed to delivering exceptional care
