Looking for a Veterinary Nursing Role That Truly Respects Your Time and Talent?
I’m currently supporting a progressive first-opinion practice that offers something many Registered Veterinary Nurses are searching for but rarely find — excellent work–life balance, modern facilities, and a genuinely supportive team culture.
This is a role designed for an RVN who enjoys being hands-on, values quality medicine, and wants to feel trusted, developed, and appreciated. Whether you’re an experienced nurse ready to hit the ground running or a newly qualified RVN looking to grow with the right support around you, this opportunity delivers on every level.
The Role
-
Full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse
-
Four-day working week
-
No weekends and no out-of-hours
-
Sociable daytime hours with the clinic closed for lunch
-
Salary range of £25,000–£30,000 depending on experience
-
Flexible working patterns considered for the right person
You’ll be part of a close-knit nursing team where RVNs are trusted and encouraged to fully utilise their skills — from diagnostics and dentistry to nurse clinics and hands-on procedures. The practice is well equipped with modern imaging, in-house lab facilities, advanced monitoring and dental equipment, allowing you to deliver gold-standard care every day.
A Benefits Package That’s Actually Designed for You
-
Six weeks’ paid annual leave including bank holidays
-
Generous CPD allowance with paid CPD time, plus genuine encouragement to pursue further interests or certificates
-
RCVS fees and an additional professional membership covered
-
Health and wellbeing support, including cashback on everyday treatments such as dental, optical, physiotherapy and massage
-
Enhanced family-friendly policies, including parental and adoption leave
-
Company sick pay and annual salary reviews
-
Discounted veterinary care
-
Cycle-to-work scheme and lifestyle discounts
-
Clear progression opportunities within a supportive, stable team
-
A culture that prioritises wellbeing, collaboration and job satisfaction
This is the kind of role where nurses stay long term — because they’re listened to, invested in, and given the time and tools to do their job properly.
