​Our reputable client is seeking a talented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

About them

The practice boasts a large, dedicated and skilled team of 25 veterinarians, 21 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including a dedicated night nurse team, 8 student veterinary nurses, 10 veterinary care assistants, and 18 receptionists. They work collaboratively to provide 24-hour wrap-around care to patients at the hospital, general practice clinics, and the exotics-only practice.

The clinic, providing mid-tier referral services, is led by certificate holders in different specialties, ensuring high-quality care for a diverse caseload. Nurses are invited to begin their referral nursing careers here, benefiting from state-of-the-art diagnostics such as CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and advanced facilities. With multiparameter monitoring and ventilator use, the clinic guarantees top-notch care for all cases, prioritising excellence across species.

Role Overview & Working Pattern

Whilst this is a full-time permanent position, they are happy to accept applications from candidates wanting to work flexibly.

The position is 5 days per week on a rota basis, 1 in 6 weekends and a share of the bank holiday rota, planned in advance.

The role will work across surgical, medical, emergency and exotics departments (no regular night work). Duties include consulting, client care, general anaesthesia for routine and complex procedures, surgical nursing, triage, routine and complex inpatient care, and running diagnostic tests (lab/radiography/CT) across a range of species (cats/dogs/rabbits/reptiles/birds/small mammals).
