We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their amazing team. You will be working at their busy Tier 3 Accredited hospital, rotating through consulting, operating, inpatient and lab shifts. They are a teaching hospital and would ideally like to recruit someone who would be keen to be or already is a Clinical Coach. Their nurses work four ten hour shifts a week with a day off. There are no out of hours requirements.
The practice:
The practice is a friendly Tier 3 hospital in the centre of Bristol, close to Redland Station and several bus routes. They have a comprehensive in-house lab, ultrasound, x-ray, and endoscopy. Although they are a first opinion vets, they have several certificate holders employed, and see a wide range of interesting cases.
Their team consists of 17 Veterinary Surgeons spread across seven sites- their main hospital and six satellite branches. Within this team they have one surgery certificate holder, one medicine certificate holder and one advanced practitioner in feline medicine. They also have five vets currently studying towards certificates in various fields. Alongside their Vets they have a team of six RVNs, four students and two ACAs based at their hospital site, as well as additional RVNs and ACAs at some of their branches. They have RVNs with certificates in feline medicine, and one currently studying towards a certificate in ECC. They are looking for a nurse at least one year qualified to join their hospital team. They would love someone forward thinking and would happily support further study in areas of interest.
Ideal Candidate:
They would prefer a candidate with an interest in being a clinical coach, or one who is already a clinical coach. They would like a friendly and supportive co-worker to join their great team, and who can help them continue to improve the care we give our patients.
