Registered Veterinary Nurse - New Practice
We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working closely with a practice who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their amazing and supportive team.
About:
The practice is a spacious newly opened Pathfinder practice and one of the first to develop the new Pet Healthcare Advisor role who work to cement their client relationships. You will be working alongside three experienced Pet Healthcare Advisors, Practice Manager/RVN and a Veterinary Surgeon/Clinical Director. You will find the practice, which opened in March, well organised and boasts heated kennels, catteries and isolation with individual dimmable lighting allowing our clinical team to control each patients environment dependant on their needs.
By joining them you will be part of the team dedicated to providing the highest standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible. The practice will be at the forefront of providing pet care with a 360 degree holistic approach, working to provide Gold standard care to patients and their owners.
Role:
Your excellent teamwork and passion for caring for your communities’ pets means you will be in the heart of the action. Working with experienced driven veterinary colleagues you will be fully supported in developing your veterinary career whilst being able to offer Gold Standard healthcare to your patients. You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including Schedule 3 procedures, theatre work and nurse consults to make this a pet care destination of choice. Their nurses are the heart of their practice and so you will perform an integral clinical role in caring for their patients.
They can offer full or part time positions. There will be some weekend cover included in the rota and no Out Of Hours cover.
About You:
You will be an ambitious RVN or nearly qualified SVN looking to progress to the next step in your career. This role would suit an experienced registered nurse or nearly qualified SVN with significant clinical experience, great communication and organisation skills, who takes pride in working to a high standard and providing clients with a personal touch. You will enjoy naturally engaging with clients and their pets to build a strong client base.
