We at Lloyd & Cowan have been asked to search for a Registered Veterinary Nurse, for a newly refurbished veterinary practice in West Sussex, due to continued growth. This purpose-built facility is fully equipped with 3 operating theatres, an on-site CT and MRI scanner.
Key abilities:
Prepare animals for surgery and have the opportunity to perform minor surgical procedures
Monitor anaesthetised animals during surgery
Provide high levels of surgical and inpatient care alongside an experienced veterinary team
The role is 40 hours per week, and 1 in 6 weekends on-call and two days back in lieu
There is no OOH requirements
Requirements:
RCVS registered, or meet the requirements
Previous experience within a small animal practice
An interest in surgical nursing
Remuneration:
Up to £28,000 with annual pay reviews
RCVS/VDS fees paid
