Our client who we are thrilled to be working with are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and experienced team. They love to get involved with all aspects of the veterinary surgery, from dealing with patients to answering the telephone. You will have a dedicated main operating nurse day, with an additional second ops nurse duty on another day. The main nurse ops day involves placing catheters, taking blood, running the bloods, getting the theatre set up for surgery, organising the day ahead and then making sure everything is cleaned and sorted after surgery has finished.

The practice:

This practice has a friendly, family vibe - they consist of long-standing team members, full time and part time vets and nurses, and a dedicated receptionist team. They have a really strong bond as a team and will pull together in every aspect of the job role.

On site they have up to date IDEXX laboratory machines, X-ray facilities, including dental radiography, dental machine, and ultrasound. The usual equipment like fluid warmer, multiple drip pumps and ecg and blood pressure monitoring equipment.

Rota:

They offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle. Whether you are looking to flex your rota hours to balance the school holidays, fix to navigate the school runs or just looking to strike that balance between home and work life. They can offer flexibility that actually works for you.

The working week is 37.5 hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8.30 - 6.30pm, Thursday as a day off. This can be discussed and is flexible. 1:4 Saturday mornings 8.30 - 12.30pm.
You will receive 1 hour’s unpaid lunch break on 3 days and half an hour on 1 day. The rota stays the same week after week, which makes it so much nicer for planning life! No out of hours.

Join an experienced Team:

They have a great team made up of 5 veterinary surgeons, 4 qualified veterinary nurses and 2 full time receptionists. Having the same shift patterns every week allows them to really enjoy the great work life balance. They are looking for another qualified veterinary nurse to join their wonderful team and bring the same enthusiasm for the job role that they have.
