Once again at Lloyd & Cowan we are working ever so closely with a first opinion small animal and exotic practice in Greater Manchester, who are seeking to appoint a Registered Veterinary Nurse, in the near future. The practice enjoys delivering care to the local community and a wide variety of their companions.
Key abilities:
The role would suit someone who likes a mixture of theatre, consultations and reception work
Prepare animals for surgery and have an interest in participating minor surgical procedures
Be passionate about working within a collaborative team and develop a bonded client base
Shift pattern:
This role is 37 hours per week, 4 days per week with Wednesdays off
You will have no OOH requirements, however you will join the Saturday morning rota of 1:3
Requirements:
RCVS registered, or meet the requirements
Newly qualified, or recently graduated Veterinary Nurse
Be a team player and display excellent communication skills
Remuneration:
Salary up to £23K

In-house CPD sessions
6 weeks annual leave
RCVS/VDS fees paid, plus one other membership
