An exciting opportunity has arisen at a small animal practice that we are delighted to be working with for an enthusiastic RVN to join their friendly and welcoming team.

The role:
This role is full time working 38.25 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends. No OOH or sole charge will be required! They can offer you a competitive salary starting from £23 000 depending on your experience. To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. You should be competent on monitoring anaesthesia and all surgical procedures. Good communication skills are also essential as you will be mixing both internally with their team and externally with their clients and other professionals.

About them:
The practice is a friendly, dynamic, highly motived and ambitious team of 30. They are made up of 7 vets with a range of experience, 8 RVNs and 2 SVN, who is very nearly qualified, 2 veterinary nursing assistants, 6 receptionists and a practice manager. Their team is led by their JVP Dan who is passionate about offering his team a great place to work and is very proud of the wonderful work place culture the team creates. Dan is dedicated and determined to offer an environment that is open, safe and inclusive for everyone within the team and he welcome applications from anyone that may be interested in joining them all on their exciting journey.

Their practice has all the equipment you’d expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care including, digital radiography, ultrasound, blood machines, BP monitors, ECG machine, capnogram, a surgical suite, and kennelling facilities.
