Here at LLoyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly practice. They have an experienced team and a great working environment. This opportunity is great for starting your career as an RVN, or for an experienced RVN looking to work in a friendly, well organised environment where further study and clinical progression is encouraged.
About them:
This is an RCVS accredited practice that provides their clients with a high-quality service.
Their dedicated and supportive team consists of 3 to 4 Veterinary Surgeons and 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses with typically two vets performing procedures during the day as well as consultations and a consult only vet. They run a daily column of nurse consultations covering routine health checks for their pet health club, as well as second vaccinations, post operative check-ups and weight clinics. They have a dedicated cat ward, two operating theatres, tub table, multiparameter monitors and doppler.
The Role:
Salary starting from £26,250.00
37.5 hours per week worked over Monday to Friday
One on call weekend and one Saturday morning in every 12-week period. A day off in lieu is offered after an on-call weekend and extra pay is claimed during out of hours periods.
You will take part in an out of hours rota to help take care of their inpatients.
