​Our client is a well-established, small animal practice is looking for a qualified RVN- they would consider someone newly qualified, to join their friendly and cohesive team. You will work closely with the rest of our clinical and support team in promoting high standards of client and patient care. They have a varied caseload, and the role includes general nursing duties, anaesthesia, radiology, ultrasonography, hospital inpatient care as we are a 24-hour emergency care provider. 


Rota:

The role is would typically involve working a 40 hour week over 5 days with 8-hour shifts, 1 in 5 weekends on a Saturday and Sunday with TOIL for weekends worked. There is no out of hours work as have a dedicated night team who cover this. Bank holidays are on a rota basis. They also welcome applications from those who may be wanting part time or flexible hours.

About them:
They have a range of equipment including ultrasound, x-ray, endoscope, dental x-ray, and a lab where they do a variety of inhouse blood work. They are the 24 hour emergency care provider for the surrounding area and have a dedicated night team of vets and nurses. The practice is in walking distance to the historic town centre of Abingdon, Oxfordshire. They are 15 minutes away from Oxford city centre where there is lots of shops and restaurants and is a very beautiful city. There are many buses running regularly from oxford and surrounding areas to Abingdon.

Their team currently consists of 9 Vets, 8 RVN's, 3 SVN, 8 receptionists and 3 ANA's and they are also a training practice. They are a very friendly and welcoming team and would want someone proactive who also has a good sense of humour.

Salary:

Up to £26,500 DOE
