Our client has a fantastic opportunity that has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and progressive small animal team. Their aim is to make the patients and clients feel part of the practice, providing a professional yet caring service. They believe in being proactive, and as nurses are encouraged to use their own initiative and skills, working alongside the vets, to ensure the best outcome is achieved for all animals in their care.
Location:
They are based in the small town of Galashiels, 50 minutes outside of Edinburgh, which is surrounded by vast countryside. This offers a wide range of outdoor activities for your spare time including walking, horse riding and cycling.
Team:
They are small and dedicated team, consisting of 4 vets, 2 nurses and 4 receptionists over two branches. They have a varied case load, giving nurses the opportunities to use and develop their qualification, with support from the whole team.
Rota:
4 day working week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
No OOH or on call – their patients are transferred to a dedicated emergency team 5 minutes from the practice
Benefits:
Salary range £23000 – 26000
