Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working closely with a practice who are seeking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The role will include carrying out nurse consultations, assisting Vets with procedures, monitoring anaesthetics, diagnostic imaging, and inpatient care.
Rota/Working Hours:
The rota will involve working 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days. The typical shift patterns are from 8:00am-4:00pm or 11:30am-7:30pm, however they can be flexible with days and hours. You will be required to work one bank holiday per year and weekends are on a rota basis typically 1 full weekend every 8-9 weeks and half a day on a Saturday. There are no out of hours and they will consider part time for the right candidate.
Salary:
The salary will be £24,000 up to £27,000 depending on experience.

This practice is a large first opinion practice within Worcestershire fully equipped with dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscope and routine diagnostic imaging, 7 consultation rooms with a nurse consultation room, a dedicated cat only consultation room and euthanasia room. They also have 2 theatres, dental theatre and a large prep room and a staff room for lunch breaks.
Team:
At this branch they are a team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 10 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants. One of their Vets has a surgical Certificate holder and two of them are working towards internal medicine certificates. They are a friendly, fun loving team.
