Registered Veterinary Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established small animal practice in the North East. The role involves all aspects of nursing care, including clinics and inpatient care for surgical and medical cases before, during and after procedures.
The Practice
This role will primarily be based at the North East site, with occasional cover at nearby consulting branches.
The modern facility is well equipped with an on-site CT scanner, in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, ECG, ultrasound, laparoscopy and dental X-ray.
The Team
You will join a supportive and collaborative nursing team of 10 RVNs, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and an Animal Care Assistant. Several nurses are trained in Schedule 3 procedures, and further qualifications in ECC, behaviour and feline nursing are actively supported. CPD is encouraged, and support is always available for more complex cases.
Working Hours

Full-time, 40 hours per week over 5 days

Shifts between 7:30am and 8:30pm

1 in 7 Saturdays (8:30am–5:00pm) with time off in lieu the following week

One bank holiday per year (excluding Christmas Day and New Year’s Day)
