We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join a great team as Regional Operations Director based in Colorado. This role involves supporting hospitals within a designated ecosystem, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment across all veterinary hospitals.
Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in the integration of new practices and contribute to the overall success.
Some Key Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships within local hospital teams.
Mentor and coach hospital leadership teams, ensuring staff training and development.
Collaborate with People Operations on recruiting, retention, and learning strategies.
Execute team-focused hospital visits to gather feedback and address concerns.
Engage with hospital teams to understand the local market.
Support the marketing department in developing targeted strategies
Ensure a positive client and patient experience throughout
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategize improvement plans.
Develop and maintain strategic planning efforts for the ecosystem and hospitals.
Advocate for medical excellence and efficiency within the local leadership team.
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
Desired Competencies:
Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of each hospital.
Approachable and available to hospital and regional support teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for pets and their well-being.
Willingness to travel frequently.
Education and Experience:
DVM or bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or equivalent.
3 years of leadership experience in a rapidly growing business with multiple locations.
Background in veterinary health field preferred; management or medical director experience is a plus.
Compensation: Negotiable based on credentials and experience. The annual salary will range between $110,000-$150,000/year, considering skills, qualifications, experience, and location
