They are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual who pays high attention to detail and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of nursing care to our patients across all of the diagnostic and treatment services offered at the clinic.
With a large caseload variety, you will be exposed to cases from all disciplines including ophthalmology, soft tissue, internal medicine, behaviour, orthopaedics, dentistry, dermatology and cardiology. The role will also involve a share of in-patient care with wards nursing on the rotation of shifts. There may on occasions be some time spent at the busy 1stopinion branches to help cover with sickness.
CPD:
They offer a supportive learning environment for nurses- CPD is encouraged and funded. Many of the nurses have achieved or are working towards certificates in further studies (anaesthesia, surgery, dentistry) and/or advanced diplomas. And are regular hosts of in-house CPD, hold ‘Clinical Club’ meetings every 3 months and the nurses were heavily involved in achieving Hospital Status with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme
The Role:
This role is ideally full time (5 working days per week) but flexible working options will be considered.
There will be 1 in 3 weekends (either the Saturday or Sunday-not both). Days off in lieu given for any shifts worked at the weekend or bank holidays.
There is also the possibility of twilight shifts and some emergency cover- this can be discussed during your interview.
A typical candidate should have:
RVN status
Confidence in their professional abilities
Ability to work well individually and as part of a large team
Desire to offer gold standard clinical care at all times
