The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in South West London. This independent practice offers a friendly and supportive working environment with a high vet-to-nurse ratio, making it an ideal place for a veterinary professional looking for a good work-life balance.
The role involves a 3-day week consisting of 28.5 hours, with the flexibility to increase hours when other staff are on annual leave. You’ll also be on a weekend rota, working one Saturday every three weeks (9am – 1pm). The practice offers a mix of consultations and surgery, with the option to focus purely on consultations if preferred.
Key Benefits
- Competitive salary (£36,000 - £42,000)

- Fully equipped clinic with MiLab blood machines, ultrasound, IV fluid pumps, digital radiographs, and dental radiographs
- Provide consultations and surgical care for small animal patients
- Work as part of a supportive team, providing exceptional care to patients and clients
- Participate in the weekend rota, working one Saturday every three weeks
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Veterinary Surgeon
- RCVS registered
- Strong communication and team-working skills
- Experience with exotics (not essential)
