Looking for a Part-Time RVN Role That Truly Respects Your Work–Life Balance?
I’m currently working with a lovely, close-knit small animal team who are looking to welcome a Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse into their practice on a maternity cover basis. This is one of those rare opportunities where flexibility, team culture, and job satisfaction genuinely come first.
This role is ideal if you’re seeking structured part-time hours, a supportive environment, and the chance to enjoy nursing without the pressure of out-of-hours or bank holiday work.

• Part-time – 26 hours per week
• Set working days for consistency and balance
• No out-of-hours or bank holidays
• Fixed-term 12 month contract with a welcoming, established team
• Salary reflective of experience
You’ll enjoy a varied caseload thanks to a diverse client base and will be confidently involved in both consultations and theatre, supported by experienced colleagues who value teamwork and good humour just as much as clinical standards.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
• Well-equipped small animal practice with strong clinical support
• Accredited training environment with a collaborative nursing culture
• In-house overnight care handled externally, keeping your workdays focused and manageable
• A genuinely friendly atmosphere where every team member is valued
• Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at work
What You’ll Receive (Pro Rata)
• 6 weeks paid holiday, including bank holidays
• Annual CPD allowance with funded learning and development support
• RCVS fees covered plus an additional professional membership
• VDS cover included
• Enhanced family-friendly policies
• Discounted veterinary care
• Health and wellbeing support covering a wide range of treatments
• Lifestyle, travel, and shopping discounts
• Company sick pay
• Regular pay reviews and genuine career development opportunities
