Night Veterinary Surgeon
Up to £75,000 FTE DOE | 1 Week On, 2 Weeks Off
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal hospital in Norfolk. This role is ideal for a vet who enjoys emergency and critical care and is looking for a change to a structured night rota.
The Role

7:00pm to 8:00am shifts

1 week on, 2 weeks off (Monday to Sunday)

Sole charge, supported by a Night RVN and Twilight Patient Care Assistant (7:00pm–11:00pm)

Option to work 2 additional daytime weekend shifts (7:30am–7:30pm) prior to your night week
The position would suit a vet with ECC experience and/or at least 3 years’ small animal surgical and consulting experience.
The Practice
This RCVS-accredited small animal hospital provides 24-hour care. The practice is well equipped with an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, endoscopy and digital X-ray. Clients also have access to radioactive iodine treatment via a nearby sister practice.
Located on the Norfolk coast, the area offers an excellent quality of life. Accommodation can be provided during working weeks, making this role suitable for those commuting from further afield.
