Veterinary Surgeon - OOH Night Team
Are you ready to make a real difference in emergency veterinary care? Our client, a busy and well-established referral hospital in Cork, is looking for an experienced OOH Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated night team.
The Role
As part of the night team, you’ll play a key role in saving lives and providing emergency care to our patients.
Shift Pattern: 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off
Shifts: 7pm to 8am
Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to €70,000 FTE
Work alongside a skilled team in a state-of-the-art, busy referral hospital
Further develop your skills in emergency medicine and critical care
Applicant Requirements
Registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI)
Availability to start in Ireland from November/December 2024
Experience in veterinary practice (this role is not suitable for new graduates)

This 100% small animal veterinary group is based in Cork, with a flagship referral hospital. Their range of referral services includes:
CT Scanning, Radiography, Ultrasound, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy
In-house Laboratory, Orthopaedic Surgery (including spinal surgery)
Canine Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation
24-hour Emergency Service at the main referral centre
