New Graduate Vet – Thetford, Norfolk
This practice would love to welcome a new graduate into our practice!
A practice that we are delighted to be working with in Thetford that has a new role, in addition to their current rota, so they can give you all the support you need to build your confidence as you start in your new veterinary career.
You would be working 36 hours over 4 days per week. Once you’ve found your feet and feel more confident, they'd discuss your inclusion into the OOH rota (approximately 1 first and 1 second on call in 10, always with a second on call Vet as back up) to build upon your experience. As well as Thetford, they also have branches in Mildenhall and Bury St. Edmunds, all well-equipped and with friendly and supportive teams.
Their greatest asset is the people who work here – they all support each other and ensure that everyone is listened to and valued – they love to hear ideas from their team members on how they can grow and evolve their clinical practice. They encourage further study, and have 4 vets who either have, or are working towards, certificates in their chosen subjects (medicine, feline medicine, emergency and critical care, and ophthalmology) and we all enjoy helping each other out with clinical cases.
As you will be part of a Graduate Development Programme at VetPartners, you will be able to embrace a blended learning approach of training days, in-house mentoring, CPD and clinical practice, creating a varied platform for you to grow and develop as a Veterinary Surgeon. You will be offered both supportive 1-to-1 and group mentoring sessions, for engagement and interaction, as you develop an invaluable skillset. From surgical/medical experience, to enjoying teamwork, providing refined customer service, and gaining business knowledge to support the security of great patient care.
At the practice, they pride themselves on providing a friendly and personal service to their clients. They have a lovely client base with many long-standing clients who they really see as friends of the practice.
Salary is £32,000.
