Are you a passionate and versatile Veterinary Surgeon looking to work across both small and large animals in a supportive and dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mixed Vet to join a thriving practice in Ireland, offering a fantastic work-life balance, competitive salary, and a friendly, close-knit team.

About the practice:

The practice is a long established, mixed companion and farm animal veterinary hospital. The hospital is a modern, purpose-built facility including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house idexx laboratory, a fully equipped dedicated dental suite, 3 consultation rooms, administrative area, large reception area, and much more.

They have expanded over the years and we now employ approximately 20 long-established staff. With an enthusiastic, progressive team of 7 veterinary practitioners, 6 veterinary nurses, an animal care assistant and 5 support staff that provide a full range of veterinary services.

The Role

  • Full-time, permanent position for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon

  • Duties include all aspects of SA and LA veterinary medicine

  • 5 days (40 hours) per week including 1 in 4 at most on call

  • Salary commensurate with experience level

  • To start November 2024

Applicant Requirements

  • All applicants must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland

  • All levels of experience will be considered

  • Applicants must hold a valid Irish driver's license due to the nature of the OOH component of the role
