Located in the beautiful King Country region we are on the lookout for a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join a modern, reputable practice, specialising in dairy, sheep, and beef farming.
This role offers a truly mixed practice environment, where every veterinarian contributes to various aspects of veterinary care.
Be a part of a relaxed and enjoyable work atmosphere where you will spend most of your days traveling the picturesque hill country roads to visit farms of all sizes.
What's on offer:
Competitive remuneration from $90K+
After hours are fairly rotated
Five weeks of annual leave.
Day in lieu after a weekend on call, along with additional financial compensation for afterhours callouts.
Work vehicle, cell phone and laptop.
Generous CPD allowance for professional development.
One day per week on companion animal roster, with the remaining four days dedicated to large animals.
A family-friendly work environment with flexible arrangements to support parents with young children.
About You:
Eligible for registration in NZ
2+ years of experience
Strong communication skills, both within the team and with farming clients.
A genuine passion for large animals and farming, with proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery.
A collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside fellow veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional service.
