We’re working with a progressive, community-focused veterinary clinic in Te Kuiti, seeking an experienced Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their friendly and established team. This is an opportunity to work across a true mix of species - from sheep and beef to family pets - with a balanced workload and great flexibility.

About the Role:

You’ll provide high-quality veterinary care across both farm and companion animal clients, working alongside an experienced team that prides itself on excellent service and long-term relationships. You’ll split your time between on-farm work and companion animal consults, with opportunities to develop your clinical interests and take on sole charge when required.About you:

  • BVSc (or equivalent) and eligibility for registration in New Zealand

  • Around 3+ years’ experience in mixed or rural practice

  • Solid clinical and surgical skills, with confidence across species

  • Strong communication skills and a client-first attitude

  • Team-focused, reliable, and enthusiastic about continuous learning

  • A positive, down-to-earth approach to rural veterinary life
