I’m delighted to be partnering with a well-established veterinary hospital in Newton, MA, to connect with an experienced Veterinarian – Medical Director eager to step into a meaningful leadership position. This is an outstanding opportunity to shape a respected community practice, elevate clinical standards, and guide a dedicated team toward continued success.

About the Role

In this leadership capacity, you’ll play a key role in developing the hospital’s vision and ensuring excellence in patient care, team culture, and operational flow. Working closely with the practice manager and leadership team, you’ll help drive improvements, streamline processes, and support the professional growth of the entire staff.

The hospital serves Newton and nearby communities including Boston, Watertown, Waltham, and Brighton. The practice offers full-service care—preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, ultrasound, and more—supported by an experienced team and a strong, loyal client base.

What You’ll Need

  • DVM/VMD (or equivalent)

  • State veterinary license in good standing

  • DEA license or eligibility

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits

You’ll be well supported with a competitive salary of $160,000–$180,000, a Medical Director stipend, and production earnings with no negative accrual.
