Lead Veterinary Surgeon- New facility/ Experienced Team

We are delighted to be representing an established Veterinary Practice in Sheringham, Norfolk who have moved into new premises and actively recruiting a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join and lead the practice.

This is the perfect position for either an experienced vet wanting to move into a senior role or a Vet wanting to take that first leap into leadership. The role will involve a good proportion of clinical time to work-up and develop a caseload alongside managerial responsibilities and leadership of the team with the support of an amazing Practice Manager.

Work-Life Balance:

  • Flexible approach to work hours to accommodate personal needs.

  • Normal working week is 40 hours with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

  • No OOH responsibilities

Supportive Team Environment:

  • Fair and manageable shift patterns, giving Vets plenty of time for case workups, admin, telephone calls, and rest.

  • Interesting mix of cases with a good proportion of insured clients, making investigations or referrals feasible options.

  • Support from an experienced & passionate Directors.

  • Team includes Certificate Holders, team of loyal experienced Vets, RVNs with additional qualifications.

  • Fresh and new premises with large consulting rooms, separate cat, dog, and nurse appointment areas.

  • Ongoing updates to equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Sound knowledge and experience in first opinion small animal practice.

  • Managerial experience is not necessarily required as support will be given.

  • Desire to lead a happy and hard-working team while maintaining excellent team wellbeing.

  • Commitment to top clinical standards and continuing practice development.
