Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

The practice is based in rural Cambridgeshire, situated just off the high street where you’ll find plenty of lunch spots and views of the River Mel nearby, this practice is perfectly nestled in a great location. Alongside this, the branch has a strong bond with loyal and dedicated clients who equally love the recently refurbed practice! The long-standing established team consists of Veterinary Surgeons who are fully supported by a nursing and support team.

You will play a pivotal role in diagnosing,treating and managing various medical conditions in a small animal practice as well as leading a team. Using a combination of your medical expertise, surgical proficiency, and communication skills to provide exceptional care, ensuring the health and happiness of their patients and clients.

You will be competent in clinical examination, routine surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing their values being trustworthy,caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing their one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Rota:

The role is working full time 4 days per week plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, however part time applicants are also welcomed.

Salary:

£60k-£75k

Your Skills and Experience:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.

  • Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.

  • Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
